About (Biography)
A native of New Jersey, Linda relocated to Florida in 1990. After living in Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, and St. Augustine, she moved to Vero Beach in 1996.
A former member of Romance Writers of America and Sisters in Crime, Linda is a current member of Mystery Writers of America – Florida Chapter. She co-chaired SleuthFest, the MWA-FL Chapter annual writers conference, in 2009, and chaired SleuthFest in 2010 and 2011. She is co-chair for SleuthFest 2012 with Julie Compton (www.SleuthFest.com), and she is working on a mystery series set in an area suspiciously like Vero Beach.
A football widow during her first marriage, she wrote Football Basics because she thought more women would enjoy football if they understood it. Linda partnered with the Susan G. Komen West Palm Beach affiliate for Football Basics - The Pink Edition (Read for the Cure) for two years, and will continue to donate 5% of net sales to them.
Linda cannot remember a time when she didn’t read, and while once she would read anything that wasn’t nailed down, she has found that learning to write has made her appreciate good writing and less tolerant of bad writing.
